We have a new neighbor, or a neighbor with a new car that has an alarm on it. We live in the suburbs, where people don't even LOCK THEIR DOORS.

So this fucking thing goes off every time a Harley rides by, or it thunders out. And tonight, it's been chirping a half a warble for the past two hours like its dying.

Just called the police, I hope they can find the owner and disconnect the battery.

Mine used to make them chirp a warning at least. Good 'ol UEL header and a STi muffler with 2.5" resonator-less pipe in between.

Please tell me you dont live in Va Beach... I had a bad relay that was draining my battery so my alarm would do just that. I'd feel bad cause it's parked pretty far from my apartment so I wouldn't know unless it sent me a text.

Some sound good, depending on the pipes. Most riders go for the "louder is better" shit though. They're not that loud from the factory.

My idiot neighbors here in SoCal parked their car in front of my house, set the car alarm and then went off to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for a week. One morning at 5am when I was leaving for work their car alarm was beeping, when I got back from work at 4pm, it was still beeping, although a bit quieter as the car battery was beginning to get weak. I called the Norwalk police and told them the car parked in front of my house had its alarm horn beeping for 12 hours, what can you do? They actually arrived in 10 minutes with a tow truck and hauled it off somewhere. Not one of my other neighbors called in a complaint, I found out. Let this be a lesson to car alarm owners, if you have an alarm be around to shut it off or it will be towed.

I'm too lazy and its too dark or I would have taken a stroll around the corner to see what kind of car it was.... thing it, there's a 3 "apartment' house on the corner next to our house, their parking lot usually has 4 or 5 cars in it, that lot shares space with the rental office/construction garage next door, and across the street from all this is a car repair shop. So it could have been any of a dozen cars but only ONE has been going off the past few days since new people moved in next door.
